Our fee is a full-service package with no hidden costs for accompanists or workshops. It includes:

• 5 Individual Lessons (40 min each): Intensive coaching consisting of 3 sessions with your primary professor and 2 sessions with other faculty members for new artistic impulses.

• Technique, Ensemble & Seminars: Specialized technique lessons, violin ensemble sessions, academic seminars, and access to all open masterclasses.

• Specialized Workshops: Orchestra School (audition training), Baroque Dance, and Video Analysis.

• Professional Support: Professional piano accompaniment provided for lessons and performances.

• Accommodation & Full Board: 5 nights in a double room and full board (including breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee & cake, and dinner).

Following its great success from 2019 to 2025, the International Violin Academy returns for its sixth edition to the Bavarian Music Academy Hammelburg. The historic Franciscan monastery—meticulously renovated to meet the highest modern standards—offers the perfect atmosphere for intensive artistic growth.

The Violin Academy Hammelburg distinguishes itself by offering a comprehensive program that goes far beyond individual lessons. We focus on a multi-faceted educational experience, incorporating:

• Individual Lessons & Rotation System: Intensive one-on-one coaching (40 min units), including sessions with your primary professor and exchange units with other faculty members for new artistic impulses.

• Orchestra School: Intensive training for auditions and orchestral excerpts (with Martin Wulfhorst).

• Baroque Dance: Exploring historical movement and rhythm to deepen the understanding of baroque repertoire (with Catharina Lühr).

• Artistic Dialogue & Community: We foster an environment of open exchange. Beyond formal seminars, students and faculty connect through open masterclasses and informal gatherings—creating a unique space for networking and personal mentorship.

• Performance Practice: Opportunities for internal and public performances in various acoustic settings.
